Daphney Nompie Thobela, completed an advanced diploma in Nature Conservation at the University of Mpumalanga in 2020. She was part of the women in science team in 2020, where she was exposed to field work, data collection, data analysis and scientific writing. She has experience in environmental education, alien invasive plants eradication and water quality analysis. She is interested in the management of aquatic alien Invasive plants in water resources.
